The New Craze...

....around here is Kid K'Nex. Tate won a prize in town this week and received an undersea Kid K'Nex kit and the kids have all been playing with it for hours. Tate also won $50 through our bank, and so he has decided to buy another set or two to add to the one he's got. Here are some of the creations they made this morning...

I'm baaaack!!

Well, I'm *hoping* to be back anyway! Life has been VERY busy of late, so I took an extended break from all blogging. I enjoyed it. I just got a new camera and am hoping to post pictures daily, or at least weekly on those busy weeks. In case your interested I'll give you an update on the kids:
Hunter has entered the world of public school. He loves it!! We had a very rough first couple months with being sick every week it seemed, but he's been healthy lately and really looks forward to learning. It's been fun to see him grow in his skills. We've already had one parent teacher conference and were very proud to hear he is doing so well. He has also started losing his teeth, he's up to three now, and it has been fun to sneak into his room and be the tooth fairy. We're glad he's a heavy sleeper!!
Tate is learning how to be the boss now that Hunter is in school most of the time. He and Callie seem to play really well together for the most part. I'm enjoying getting to see more of his personality shine through without his brother around. He's much more into coloring and likes to build things. Books are still a love of his and he could spend HOURS being read to by me. He's also into anything Superhero and likes to wrestle.
Callie is, well, there are no words really to describe her. She keeps us entertained for sure! The big news of the summer for her was that she got bit and sprayed by a skunk. The most bizare thing that has ever happened! She is fine now, just had to have some rabbie shots. She is very girly, liking all things babies and loves Princess stuff. She often asks me to call her "Princess Callie". She is very gentle with her dollies and likes to feed them and put them to bed. I'm often told to quiet down b/c her babies are sleeping. She also loves to jump and is now fully potty trained. In fact we are no longer a family who has kids in diapers at all. It's nice!
