We did it again...

I'll explain the title of the blog in a second, but first I wanted to let everyone know that I've changed the settings on my comments. You now have to have them approved by me and there is also a word verification. I had a couple of questionable comments by complete strangers, so I decided to beef up the security:)

About the title, we put Callie on her stomach last night. She slept really good last night. The best this week, which meant that I slept good, also. I know its kind of contriversial to have babies sleep on their stomachs nowadays, but Brent and I were on our stomachs and are still around. We put the boys on their stomachs and they liked it alot better. Hunter was up every half hour until we put him on his stomach. I hadn't tried it with Callie so far, b/c she didn't seem to have as strong a neck as the boys, but now she does, so last night we tried it.

Callie and I went to Brainerd this morning for her appointment(the Smiths have volunteered to watch the boys the next few Tuesdays, so they were with them!) She has gained another 9 oz since last week(putting her at 6 lbs 12 oz.) and the doctor was pleased with her develpment. I think she is going to be a great shopping partner. We went to Kohls after the appointment and then to WalMart for groceries and she didn't wake up the whole time. It was kind of relaxing for me. I'm really getting into having a girl, especially after looking at all the cute Easter dresses at Kohls. I never knew I'd like it so much!

I was nursing Callie as soon as we were home from Brainerd and also trying to eat lunch.(leftover spaghetti bake from Heather) Its rather difficult to eat and nurse, and I always used to put a towel over Tate while I nursed and ate b/c he seemed to always want to nurse while we ate supper. Anyway, I looked down at poor Callie and there on her nose was a little piece of spagetti, so I guess I'll be getting out the towel again.

Yesterday seemed to be the most normal day we have had since Callie's birth. The kids and I read books, played play dough and they played in the Thomas tent. I did feel a little more choas in the house, it seems they either don't need me at all, or they all need me at the very same time. Callie was wanting to nurse just as Tate burnt his fingers on the stove(I was right next to him saying at the very second he burnt his fingers not to touch that and get down, but he is too quick)

A couple funny Hunter sayings:
-he's been calling Callie's pacifier a "macifier"
-this morning as he got his clothes on he said, "I'm going to show everyone in town my shirt and show everyone in town my tatoo!"

And some pictures:

Call me immature but I had to laugh at Callie's inappropriate hand gesture in the first picture:)
